Aaaaaaand we're baaaaack! Matt and Lars discuss the latest lack of podcasts and conclude that it is mainly because the Spitz is doing a TON of live shows! Shows you could go see, Dear Listener. Then you would become a Dear Watcher and thus double the amount of ways you can perceive the Cherry Spitz. Lars recounts another odd observation he made at CVS pharmacy, Matt makes plans to kill his alter ego "Mark Appledoctor", and Kelly-wife chimes in from the peanut gallery for some good laughs. Lot's of silly in another damn fine audio experiment at Catbus Studios. Check out our live dates at cherryspitz.com and be sure to like our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cherry-Spitz-Comedy.
Hello Dear Listener and welcome once again to the Spitz. Today, Jac Wandzura of Ghostlight Improv ( http://www.facebook.com/GhostlightImprov ) sits in with James and Lars for another ride on the crazy train. The trio discusses the close proximity in which Lars lives to certified crazy people, the underpaid mathematical genius of Jac, and James' utter disdain for people who are liberal with the free jam offered at restaurants. It's a super silly hour and a half with a fine improv comic bit and fun humor from our guest. The Wright Brothers would be proud, cause we flying in your head, Listener!
Steve Nguyen joins James and Shaun this episode. Steve has burned his hand, and has just gotten into using nun chucks. Shaun's hungover. James doesn't like Lobster and gets annoyed with Shaun's love for "shitty" music. Nobody likes awards shows. Shaun's plumber thinks the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax. Steve was showering while it started backing up with sewage. Shaun keeps referencing/singing the "shitty" music James hates. Its good times!!!!!!!!!!
Aaaaaaand we're back! Now that we have our little maintenance problem fixed, the Cherry Spitz brings you another fine aural experience. Sitting in studio today is Alex Foster. Alex is a recent addition to the puppet-based improv troupe known as Puppet Mayhem (www.puppetmayhem.com) which James and Lars also happen to be members. Alex shares his experiences doing comedy in Southern California and the gang delves into more absurd comedy bits. Roll for initiative, Dear Listener. This episode is a critical hit!
Mikey Robledo of Comedy Kaze sits in studio with James and Lars. What ensues is a torrent of bits and silliness as we learn of Mikey's journey into the live comedy world. Also, the gentlemen weigh in on some more recent big issues. Lars also finds himself in a real-life moral quandary as an avian jailor.
Happy New Year beautiful Dear Listener! It's a brand new year of bits and hijinks grilled up and served the only way the Spitz can. In studio with Matt and Lars, is wife of Lars and new Spectacles podcaster- Kelly Poptart. We talk cartoons, discover that Matt is on a caveman diet with his mom, and honor the memory of our departed weirdo-in-arms Huell Howser. Also, James staggers in later in the show to update us on what seems like Day 53 of his moving into his girlfriend's apartment.

Happy New Year, loyal Listener! We thought we drop this special episode a little before New Years Eve so you'd could squeeze the last bit of Spitz into your ears for 2012. And what a squeezing it is. Graham, Lars, and James do some bits on sultry late-night radio DJs, facial robbery, and dramatic readings of high school original plays. Also- the quandary of a "Quantum Lincoln" and the gang discovers they all gamble with their families on the holidays. Happy New Years from your family here at the Cherry Spitz Podcast.
Newest Spitz member Graham Beightol joins us for his first official train ride with two of the the most seasoned Spitz conductors, Lars and Matt. Together, they ride out into the vast unknown answering life's mysteries. Along the way, they have a really uncomfortable encounter with Lars' family life and Matt reveals that he is a total dick for not sharing his red carpet premiere tickets of Django Unchained. Take a couple sips of this fine minty podcast.
Hey! It's a little late coming out this time around, but hot damn it's a great show. James and Matt discuss their plans for dominating at the 3rd Annual OC Improv Cup and discover that none of us are any good at plugs. Also, Lars proposes a grim future yet-to-be and the gang speculates on who the minorities are in the Star Wars universe. Be sure to check out the Improv Cup this weekend at STAGES Theater in Fullerton to see your favorite Spitz member battle in comedy for sweet champion honors. Go to www.improvcup.com for more information.
Sorry for the delay on episodes, Dear Listener, but we've just been so super-busy kicking ass and running out of bubblegum (guess I'm gonna have to dip into the cushions of my couch again for more sweet sweet, bubblegum money). On this special episode, Matt and Lars hit up the historic first podcast festival in the city of sunny hobos- Santa Monica. Plenty of riffs and "cool stories" are had as the duo attends live recordings of much more famous podcasts than the one you are about to listen to.
